A Window to His Soul

The reference for this painting was a photo taken near the intersection of Highway 108 and 120 in October 2018. I walked up to the fence and called for the horses there and one was kind enough or hungry enough to come over for a bit of the “greener” grass I was offering him. He was a beautiful Paint, but I was particularly drawn to the kind look in his eye as we talked.
